Villa Puerto Escondido (Hidden Port) is tucked away in the hills of Playa Ocotal and boasts one of the best views of the shoreline and islands in the Papagayo Bay.
The astonishing views in the private pool area, surrounded by lush tropical gardens that add privacy and beauty to the construction. The beautiful pool will invite you to cool off and relax, while immersing you into this tropical oasis.
Villa Puerto Escondido is a 4 bedroom 5 bathroom with an on-site staff from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm to prepare and serve 3 meals, drinks, and housekeeping. All basic soaps, hair dryers, beach and pool towels, and safes are provided. Our chef prepares your daily meals. Our tender of the bar serves all of the meals under our covered patio along with drinks of your choice. Our housekeeper will take great care of the villa, your rooms, and private baths along with daily laundry service.
Mariela is our house manager who ensures everything is in place for your arrival and throughout your stay.
We are also able to schedule your airport transport to and from the airport with our personal concierge.

Food & Beverages
You will enjoy meals prepared by our Costa Rican chef using local fresh ingredients. Our resident bartender serves the meals and handles your drink requests from the bar during the day and early evening. This services ends after dinner.
Breakfast - Served between 8:00-8:30 am. Each morning you will receive fresh fruit, toast, juices, pancakes or French Toast, along with different egg dishes.
Lunch - Served from noon to 1:00 p.m. and consists of a variety of salads such as taco salad, tuna salad and tarragon chicken salad. Other lunches consist of our famous tacos, quesadillas, grilled chicken, nachos, pasta, and grilled fish or chicken strips. If you take a day trip or tour that does not include lunch, our staff will gladly pack you lunch and refreshments.
Dinner - Served between 5:30-6:00 p.m. Each entree is served with salad or soup, fresh vegetables, bread and dessert. Entrees are made using the freshest local ingredients, including fresh seafood, chicken, beef, and pork. Some of our seafood meals include pan-fried red snapper, grilled mahi-mahi and shrimp. You may also receive beef tenderloin, Hawaiian pork chop, chicken parmesan and lasagna.
Beverages - Our bartender will gladly mix and serve you refreshing beverages while you relax in the pool or in your lounger.. The bar includes Imperial and Imperial light, red and White House wines, vodka, tequila, rum, gin and bourbon. Your friendly bartender specializes in margaritas, Pina coladas, daiquiris, mojitos and frozen drinks. Soft drinks, fruit drinks, milk and Costa Rican coffee are also available. The bar remains open in the evening after the staff leaves but you will have to fix your own drinks until they return at 7:00 a.m. the next morning. “Pura Vida!”

Driving Directions from Liberia, Costa Rica Airport to Villa Puerto Escondido
Coming from the Liberia Airport, you would take a right out of the airport and follow the highway until you see the signs to Playa Coco (Coco beach) and El Ocotal.
After you get to Playas del Coco, look for the sign for the Super Compro Supermarket on the left and take a left at the sign.
When you cross the first bridge, take a right. You will cross over another bridge and the road will fork to the left as the road winds through the small village and on to Ocotal. It is two miles from the turn at Coco to Ocotal. After you drive through the gate at Ocotal, veer left at the fork then take a right at the road sign Pez Vela Avenida 217
You will pass villas on the right as you climb the hillside. After you pass the villas on your right and when you you come to a yellow cattle grate in the road and a white contemporary villa on the right, take a left up the steep grade at the road sign Vista Azul Calle 376. At the top of the grade you will bear right as the road becomes Vista Azul. After you bear right take the first driveway entrance on your right. The driveway entrance is for both Villa Puerto Escondido and Villa Puesta del Sol. Go up straight up the hill to Villa Puerto Escondido.
