Villa Puesta del Sol (Sunset House) is our newest all-inclusive, private, luxury villa. Offering the perfect setting for your Costa Rican vacation, this nine-bedroom, two-story villa with a private pool, is nestled in the hills of Ocotal, Costa Rica and offers magnificent views of the Pacific Ocean. The full staff includes your talented chef, housekeeper and bartender/server. Our all-inclusive rates include three meals per day, snacks, a full open bar and staff to provide you with five-star service. Villa Puesta del Sol (Sunset House) is a newly renovated 9-bedroom, 11 bath, all-inclusive villa  that can host 24 adults comfortably.  It is a tropical paradise nestled in the hills of Ocotal, Costa Rica. Ocotal is located in the northwest region of Costa Rica, just  a 30 minute ride from Liberia International Airport.

We offer a unique experience by providing a full service villa which allows everyone to truly be on vacation.

From the moment you arrive at Villa Puesta del Sol, you will be greeted by our wonderful staff that is dedicated to making your time at Villa Puesta del Sol the best it can be. Our chef Allyson prepares your daily meals. Andy serves all of the meals under our covered patio, along with drinks of your choice. Joselyn will take great care of the villa, your rooms and private baths along with daily laundry service.

Mariela is our house manager who ensures everything is in place for your arrival and throughout your stay.

We are able to schedule your airport transport to and from airport with our personal concierge.

Food & Beverages

You will enjoy daily mouth watering meals prepared by our talented Costa Rican cooks and staff, using local fresh ingredients. The villa's bartender serves the meals and handles the bar during the day and early evening before and during dinner.

Breakfast - Normally served around 8:00 a.m., breakfast is cooked to order and served with fresh fruit, toast, juices, hash browns, pancakes or French toast, gallo pinto, and our famous Costa Rican Coffee.

Lunch - Lunch is typically served from noon to 1:00 p.m. and consists of a variety of salads such as the delicious tarragon, chicken, grape, and almond salad. Other lunches consist of our famous tacos, quesadillas, grilled chicken, nachos, pasta, and grilled fish or chicken strips. If you take a day trip or tour that does not include lunch, our staff will gladly pack you lunch and refreshments.

Dinner - Our fabulous four-course dinners are served around 6:00 p.m. and consist of one an entree served with salad or soup, fresh side vegetables, bread and dessert. Entrees are made using the freshest local ingredients, including fresh seafood, vegetables, and fruit, as well as chicken, beef, and pork. Among the seafood and entrees served during the week's stay are fresh whole pan fried red snapper, grilled mahi-mahi, sea bass, shrimp, lobster, beef tenderloin, Hawaiian pork chop, chicken parmesan, and lasagna.

Beverages - Your friendly bartender will gladly mix and serve refreshing drinks while you relax in the pool or sit in your rocker on the patio. The bar includes two kinds of Costa Rican beer, white and red house wines, rum, vodka, tequila, gin, bourbon and scotch. Bartender specialties include our famous margaritas, pina coladas, mojitos, daiquiris or other frozen drinks made with the freshest ingredients. Soft drinks, fruit drinks, milk, and legendary Costa Rican coffee are also available. The bar remains open in the evening after the staff leaves but you will have to fix your own drinks until they return at 7:00 a.m. the next morning. "Pura Vida!"

Additional Villa Amenities

The housekeeper cleans the entire house daily and will provide fresh linens and towels if needed. She will also launder your personal washable items of clothing daily so you can pack light.

With amazing panoramic, breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean, you will likely find yourself wanting to kick back and relax at this lushly landscaped villa. You can soak up the sun and enjoy the incredible view from the patios and lovely private pool, while our attentive staff brings you drinks. Or you can have 5 Star Salon come to the villa to pamper you with massages, manicures, pedicures, facials, and even haircuts.

You will be overwhelmed with the spaciousness of this incredible villa with amazing panoramic views from every angle. Villa Puesta del Sol features a living room with a modern kitchen. Elegantly furnished interiors include a 65 inch smart TV in the living room.

Bedrooms

Villa Puesta del Sol offers 9 bedrooms and 11 full baths. Each bedroom is uniquely decorated and beautifully furnished. The unique bedroom arrangement of this villa is especially well suited for families with children. Villa Puesta del Sol requires a 6 person minimum to book, but will sleep 24. All bedrooms offer:

King/Queen Bedrooms - Four bedrooms offer king-size beds, three bedrooms offer two queen sizes bed each and two bedrooms have a queen-size bed in each. Each bedroom has its own ensuite.

Driving Directions from Liberia, Costa Rica Airport to Villa Puesta del Sol

Coming from the Liberia Airport, you would take a right out of the airport and follow the highway until you see the signs to Playa Coco (Coco beach) and El Ocotal.

After you get to Playas del Coco, look for the sign for the Super Compro Supermarket on the left and take a left at the sign.

When you cross the first bridge, take a right. You will cross over another bridge and the road will fork to the left as the road winds through the small village and on to Ocotal. It is two miles from the turn at Coco to Ocotal. After you drive through the gate at Ocotal, veer left at the fork then take a right at the road sign Pez Vela Avenida 217

You will pass villas on the right as you climb the hillside. After you pass the villas on your right and when you you come to a yellow cattle grate in the road and a white contemporary villa on the right, take a left up the steep grade at the road sign Vista Azul Calle 376. At the top of the grade you will bear right as the road becomes Vista Azul. After you bear right take the first driveway entrance on your right. The driveway entrance is for both Villa Puerto Escondido and Villa Puesta del Sol. To get to Villa Puesta del Sol, take a hard left up to the villa. Welcome to your private luxury villa Pura Vida!
